This is so we are able to communicate with you while responding to your initial enquiries regarding the sale and purchase of instruments and repairs and while we are carrying out repairs (progress reports etc), sourcing instruments and selling an instrument to you or buying an instrument from you.

A description of the location and security of the information held on you: Information is held on storage discs which are kept in a locked cabinet when not in use and is also stored in the i-cloud and google mail. Data kept in the i-cloud is currently sent to and stored in the US in encrypted form including when Apple use 3rd party storage. This encrypted form has the approval of the Information Commissioners Office as offering adequate safe guards. Data stored in Google mail is stored in several places around the world so if in one place it is destroyed it can be moved straight away to a stable and secure location. The search engine is Safari. All our computers are only accessible with a password. This contact data is also kept in hard copy form which is also stored in a locked cabinet when not in use. All our computers are protected with security software. Communications by text message are stored on our mobile phones which are accessed with pass codes known only to the partners of WLBRR. All communications sent and received by email are protected by a VPN (Virtual Private Network) We do not use cookies on our website to track your orders or store your details. We use the accounts package "Xero" to maintain financial records of our transactions for submission to HMRC. This package Xero is stored on our laptops, phones and ipads and protected by differing passwords. Xero is certified as compliant with ISO/IEC 27001:2013 which is globally recognised as adhering to the premier information security management system (ISMS) standard.
The accuracy of the information
We want to make sure that your personal information is accurate and up to date so you may ask us to correct or remove it if this is not the case. To ask for this information, please write to, e-mail, speak to us or send your request via social media. You have the right to see the personal information that we hold on you, know how we use it and ensure that it is up to date as well as request that inaccurate information be corrected. Any request to correct inaccurate data or opt out of any communications that you initially agree to should be sent to WLBR by contacting us by e-mail, post, speaking to us or making a request via social media. If necessary we will share your address details with Royal Mail, “Parcel Hero”, “Mail Boxes etc.” and other delivery companies so that parcels may be delivered to you. Our website has a link to the GoDaddy website so if you choose to use this please note that we have no control over this website. If you default on your payments we will share your information with debt collection or tracing agencies to enable all outstanding invoices to be paid.

When a transaction has taken place where we have retained your name, address, email address, telephone number, details of any repair fee, sale, purchase price or hire fee for any instrument we will be keep a record of any communication we have had with you. We will keep a record of any communication with professional advisers and consultants, suppliers and contractors.
Records of communications may take the form of written communications, emails, notes taken during telephone calls and texts.
Records of repairs and servicing for the management of our business and training purposes.
If a person or organisation fails to make a payment for a service or supply of instruments this information will be kept for seven years after the matter is resolved.
